January 15-20, Queen's College, New York, NY, U.S.

Selected Composer Fellow: "Breath II" for String Trio was performed and recorded by the Talea Ensemble at the 2024 Recording Workshop.

 

January 29, Bates Recital Hall, The University of Texas at Austin, TX, U.S.

World Premiere: "Me and My Shadows" for Sheng and Ensemble was featured at "The Sound-Map from East to West" concert, a blend of Chinese Sheng music with Western ensemble compositions, organized by Geli Li, featuring Sheng virtuoso Yang Zheng and the SoundMap Ensemble under the direction of Januibe Tejera.

 

March 1-2, Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT, U.S.

Winner of the International Call for Scores, Women Composers Festival of Hartford: "TRIO" for piano, violin, cello, performed by the Balance Campaign Ensemble.

May 21-27, RODAMÚSIC COMPOSERS RESIDENCY, Potries, Valencia, Spain

Selected Composer:A newly composed string quartet, commissioned by the Composer Residency Program at RodaMúsic, will premiere at the Potries Music Fest following a one-week creative residency, performed by 4Sonora, on May 26th, 2024.

 

June 10-22, ManiFeste-2024 Academy, Ircam, Paris, France

Selected Composer Fellow: "Breath VI" for amplified accordion (world premiere), premiered by the soloist from the Ensemble intercontemporain, accordionist Anthony Millet at the ManiFeste-2024 Festival Academy.

 

 

July 18-23, 2024, DeGaetano Composition Institute, New York, NY, U.S.

Selected Composer Fellow: "Sleeping Light in the Depths" for chamber orchestra, commissioned by DeGaetano Composition Institute, premiered by the Orchestra of St. Luke's, conducted by Brad Lubman.

  2. University of Chicago New Music Ensemble (Chicago, IL, U.S.): Project: DUO-for violin and viola.

  3. Unheard-of Ensemble (San Antonio, TX. U.S.): Project: TRIO-for violin, cello, and piano.

  4. Chartreuse Trio (NYC. Chicago, San Francisco, U.S.): Project: Breath II-for violin, viola, and cello.

  5. University of Texas at Austin Percussion Ensemble (Austin, TX, U.S.): Project: Silent Whippers-for three percussionists and electronics.

  6. Breath V- for flute and electronics (10 minutes): Composed for The Experimentals & Electronics Music Studios Project and premiered by Laura Cocks at Bates Recital Hall, The University of Texas at Austin.

  7. The Tree Dreams My Dream – for violin, viola, and tape (3 minutes): Created for the Collaborative Composition Initiative Workshop and premiered by the Unheard-of Ensemble at "A Field Guide to San Antonio Plants.”
