COMPOSER

Since 2020, I have developed a composition series titled Breath, which explores the interplay between noise and pitch through subtle nuances and delicate gestures. Each piece employs distinct instrumentation, offering multiple musical and conceptual perspectives on the theme of “breath.” As the series has evolved, I gradually expand the sonic landscape and reach out to the realm of electronic music. In my compositions, electronic music serves as an additional layer of the sonic world, contrasting with and enhancing the acoustic part. It acts as a tool to amplify the sonority of acoustic instruments and merges with them to form a hybrid union. In Breath VI for accordion and electronics, fixed media and live processing act as an inner voice, reshaping the instrument’s timbre into shifting gestures and layered expressions that deepen the acoustic palette.
