COMPOSER

Since 2020, I have developed a composition series titled Breath, which explores the interplay between noise and pitch through subtle nuances and delicate gestures. Each work employs distinct instrumentation, offering multiple musical and conceptual perspectives on the idea of “breath.”

Breath IV, composed for large ensemble and fixed media, investigates the dialogue between silence, pitch, noise, and gesture, integrating these elements into a unified sonic landscape. The piece was created for The Experimental & Electronic Music Studios Project and premiered by the UT Austin New Music Ensemble under the direction of Januibe Tejera.
